sweets: Sinfully Rich Fudgy Brownies

Friday, November 30, 2012 14 Comments

Sinfully Rich Fudgy Brownies | @mamamissblog #brownies #fudge #marshmallowgoodness

Let me just warn you now, before you read any further.

These Sinfully Rich Fudgy Brownies (umm…more like fudge…let’s be honest here) are INDULGENT, sinful, COMA-INDUCING, and diet-ruining.

So, I thought it only fair to give you a warning ;)

I was quite the little baker when I was 12 years old.

The last time I made these brownies it was circa 1988…you know…jellies, charm necklaces, layered socks kind of 1988 – HA!

But, like an old friend you haven’t seen in forever, once I made them ate them, it was just like no time had passed…still oh so yummy, and oh so very sinful!

Well, let’s get to it – are you sitting down?

1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour

  5. Beat in eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla and salt until thoroughly blended.
  6. Stir in flour, blending well.
  7. Spread mixture evenly in the pre-greased pan.
  8. Bake 30-35 minutes. Brownies should be moist.
  9. Be careful not to over-bake. Cool in pan.
  10. Meanwhile, prepare Chocolate-Marshmallow Frosting.
  11. While frosting is slightly warm, spread brownies with Chocolate-Marshmallow Frosting.
  12. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  13. Cut chilled brownies into bars. Store in refrigerator.
